What is Yeet?
Yeet is a swiping photo cleaner. You swipe through your camera roll one photo at a time — swipe right to keep, swipe left to yeet — and clear out the clutter without endless scrolling.
How do I delete photos?
Swipe left on any photo or video to add it to your delete pile. Nothing is removed right away: you review everything you queued and confirm before Yeet asks your device to delete it.
Can I undo a swipe?
Yes. Tap the undo button at the top of the screen to take back your last decision and bring that photo back — handy when you swipe a little too fast.
Are my deletions permanent?
Deletion is handled by your operating system, so on most devices deleted items land in a “Recently Deleted” album for a while before they’re gone for good. We still recommend keeping a backup before a big clean-up.
Do my photos ever leave my phone?
No. Yeet reviews your photos entirely on your device. We do not upload, copy, or store your photos or videos on any server. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.
Why does Yeet need access to my photos?
Yeet needs photo access to show your library and remove the items you choose to delete — and that all happens on your device. It never deletes anything automatically, and nothing is uploaded anywhere.
How are my photos organized?
Yeet sorts your library into big, bold rows — your recent shots, each month, types like screenshots and videos, and your own albums, plus “On This Day” and random picks that resurface older memories worth a second look.
Is Yeet free?
Yes, you can clean up your library for free. The free version includes a limited number of cleaning sessions over a period and shows ads. An optional subscription removes those limits and ads.
Why is there a limit on sessions?
The free version gives you a set number of cleaning sessions that refill over time, which keeps things focused and sustainable. You can earn an extra session by watching a short ad, or subscribe to remove the limit entirely.
What are streaks?
Come back and clean up on consecutive days to build a streak — a little nudge to keep your camera roll tidy instead of letting it pile up again.
Will Yeet send me reminders?
Only if you want them. You can switch on optional reminders — like “On This Day” memories, streak nudges, monthly cleanups, and prompts to free up space — and turn any of them off again whenever you like in Settings.
Can I change how the app looks?
Yes. Yeet ships with light, dark, and automatic modes plus a range of bold color themes, so you can match the app to your style.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, so you manage and cancel them in your app store account settings. See our Terms of Use for the details.
